Dr. Tim Hodgson
Dr. Tim Hodgson was born and raised in a log home in Whitehorse, Yukon. Some of his earliest memories are running his father’s dog team on a frozen lake. Since then, he has lived across Canada as he pursued his post graduate education. He attended McGill University for his undergraduate in chemistry and honours computer science, and then he chose the University of Manitoba to achieve his dental degree. Since then, he has been constantly updating his dental knowledge with continuing education courses in order to give the best possible care to his patients. His recent courses include periodontal surgery, laser dentistry, oral surgery, implantology and an esthetic dentistry diploma from the University of Minnesota. Arriving back to his west-coast roots in January of 2010 has been a dream come true. Dr. Hodgson is excited to be joining Eagle Creek Dental; working with like minded people who maintain the highest standard of care and value continuing education make this a perfect fit. He follows a philosophy of doing the best possible work for his patients, and doing it comfortably. Sympathetic to dental fears, he recognizes that, for many people, the dental office is their least favorite place. To make it easier, Dr Hodgson uses a soft touch and gentle manner that puts his patients at ease. In his spare time, Dr Hodgson loves to spend time with family and friends. He is also an avid skier, kiteboarder, and hiker, and is learning to play hockey. He also strums the acoustic guitar and enjoys photography.

Dr. Kevin Aminzadeh

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Dr. Aminzadeh grew up in the community of Capital Hill in North Burnaby. He decided to become a dentist at age 12, and pursued his dream with focus and determination. Upon graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy, he moved to the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated in May 2001 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Aminzadeh continues to hone his clinical skills through continuing education courses in orthodontics, implantology, laser technology, and endodontics, and recently completed the renowned Force International orthodontic training program. He is also a published author of several articles on the effects of medication on dental patients and the relationship between amalgams and multiple sclerosis. In 2004, Kevin realized his dream of owning a dental practice when he purchased Norburn Dental Centre. Ironically, the owner, Dr. Iain Forsyth, was Dr. Aminzadeh’s childhood dentist. Despite having a solid patient base, Norburn Dental Centre was located on a second-floor walk up and received very little street traffic. Searching for greater exposure, Dr. Aminzadeh moved his practice to the new Eagle Creek Dental Centre in June 2005, and they have since received a warm reception from the community. Dr. Aminzadeh considers his marriage to the beautiful and brilliant Isabella Taba as his biggest achievement thus far. An electrical engineer, his wife helped him to develop a device that precisely measures tooth numbness in preparation for dental procedures. Dr. Aminzadeh's personal interests include sculpting in clay and soapstone, open water scuba diving, and soccer.
