ORTHODONTICS
Whether your child requires braces or you are thinking of treating yourself to the smile you have always deserved, we are happy you are here.
Our goal is to exceed your expectations through individualized quality care and state-of-the-art orthodontic technology at an affordable cost. We offer our patients all the latest treatment options, enabling you to make the most informed decision possible. Your satisfaction in your treatment is of the utmost importance to us.
Early Orthodontic Treatment
Though your smile can be enhanced orthodontically at any age, there is an optimal time period to begin treatment. Beginning treatment at this time ensures the greatest result and the least amount of time and expense. The Canadian and American Association of Orthodontists recommend that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age 7. At this early age, orthodontic treatment may not be necessary, but vigilant examination can anticipate the most advantageous time to begin treatment. If your child is older than 7 and has never had an orthodontic evaluation we would be more than happy to evaluate their orthodontic needs.

Adult Orthodontics
Braces aren’t just for kids anymore. Tooth alignment can be changed at any age if your gums and bone structure are healthy. We offer a variety of treatments that are designed for different age groups – including adults. Your journey to a new smile can begin today.
Orthodontic treatment at later stages in life can dramatically improve your personal appearance and self-esteem. Improving the health of your teeth and gums is equally important. Crooked teeth and a bad bite can contribute to gum and bone loss, tooth decay, abnormal wear of the tooth enamel and surfaces, headaches and jaw joint (TMJ/TMD) pain.
Types of Braces:
Metal
Metal braces are the most common type. They are made of high-grade stainless steel. Today’s metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive.
Clear
Ceramic braces are made from translucent (clear) material. They are most popular with our adult patients due to their cosmetic appeal. The only drawback to ceramic brackets is that they are more fragile, and the elastic ties can discolor in between orthodontic visits.
Invisalign
The Invisalign system is a series of clear overlay templates called aligners that have been generated by computer simulation to gradually move teeth. The system is available to adult patients and some teenagers with certain bite problems. Ask us if you are a candidate for the Invisalign System.
Cost
It is impossible to give an exact cost for treatment until we have examined you. Being a general dentist, Dr. Aminzadeh’s fees for orthodontic services are lower than an orthodontist. We will cover your financial options at the initial examination. The exact cost of treatment will be determined once full diagnostic records have been taken and a comprehensive treatment plan has been developed for you. We have financing options available to accommodate your needs, and we will review these with you. We will also review your insurance policy and help to maximize your benefit and file your claims.
Financial
It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget. Please ask us about financing options and credit card payments. We accept MasterCard, VISA, and Debit. We aim to thoroughly explain your options, so that we can accommodate your needs.
Insurance
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have orthodontic benefits that offer specific dollar and percentage limits. Our office is committed to helping you to maximize your insurance reimbursement and will endeavor to facilitate the process.
We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office! This visit allows Dr. Aminzadeh and his staff an opportunity to get to know you, as well as acquire a clear understanding of your orthodontic needs and goals.
At your first orthodontic visit we will perform a comprehensive examination of your teeth, jaws and muscles of the face and make treatment recommendations based on your specific needs. This appointment is called an initial orthodontic consultation and is usually 30 minutes in length.
If treatment is indicated, it will be necessary to obtain diagnostic records to establish a definitive treatment plan. This procedure which includes photographs, specialized x-rays and molds of the teeth, may be obtained at a later, separately scheduled appointment time.
